Welcome, and do come in! This World Food Day we are delighted to present our new website, aflasafe.com. With Aflasafe well into its commercialisation phase, already available in five countries and close to registration in several more, it was time for a makeover to present our product to potential users and partners. This, through an attractive modern look and relevant readable information. There’s fresh paint in the air and bold architecture to explore, so please take a good look around our new home – and read on for a sneak preview.
Our homepage is a great place to begin, and to check out our look combining earthy tones and a bold graphic style. Wondering “what’s in it for me?” when it comes to investing in Aflasafe or in aflatoxin-safe foods? We answer that straight away, with perspectives from different kinds of people that you might relate to. (This is also a great place to start getting to know our funky illustrations!)
Of course, if you simply want to learn more about the problem of aflatoxin or the effective solution offered by Aflasafe, these sections are a fabulous springboard. From overview pages that offer a few introductory facts and ideas in an easy-on-the-eye format, you can dive in and explore the aspects that interest you most, such as the prevalence or health impacts of aflatoxin. Or Aflasafe’s effectiveness, economic benefits, and safety and reliability.

As we continue with commercialisation for sustainable, viable Aflasafe production in countries across Africa, our website will support and reflect these efforts. We aim to market Aflasafe to potential users, producers, distributors and consumers, creating awareness and demand.
The website was developed by our stellar web gang: Eloise Phipps, writer, content developer and project leader; Brandon Tooke, web developer; and Njeri Okono, communications specialist, ATTC Project. Our renovations are by no means finished, and the team will be doing lots more work on the site.
